Alexandra Roxo (Brazilian-American) and Natalia Leite (Brazilian-Brazilian) how they became friends: “We were drawn to each other because we have a lot in common. We both liked each other’s work; we both speak Portuguese; we both have been dedicated to our spiritual paths and curious about that for about 15 years.” Wait, there’s more “and also our work/art is at the forefront of our lives. And we are both extremely hard workers. We realized pretty early on that this was a special working partnership we had.” Obviously they want people to enjoy the webseries and laugh about it, but their goal is to be on TV; “We know there is an audience for it,” they add. All the season one episodes are on YouTube and they’ll be guests at another episode of the always fantastic Late Night Basement this Friday.
