Even though Sony bent to the will of the hackers and it’s not releasing The Interview, best-selling Brazilian author Paulo Coelho — whose book The Alchemist has sold in excess of 165 million copies — has offered to buy the rights to the movie from Sony.
“I offer @SonyPictures 100k for the rights of ‘The Interview’ I will post it free on my blog,” the author announced. Paulo Coelho wants to release the movie on torrent sites, he’s an avid advocate of P2P networks.
