New Track from Santigold – “Radio” | Paper Towns Soundtrack

Since 2012’s Master of My Make-Believe, Santigold has been darting in and out of view.

Lately, it seems the only way we hear new music from Santigold is through various soundtracks and compilations. Over the last few years, she’s contributed to the Hunger Games: Catching Fire film, as well as penned a World Cup-inspired EDM banger. Her latest song, a walloping big-beat anthem titled “Radio”, is yet another tune offered up to the soundtrack gods.

Curated from Santigold shares anthemic new song “Radio” — listen | Consequence of Sound

The new song, “Radio” is “‘Boom-Clap’-ish” and “highly anthemic track,” as Spin.com put it and will appear on the soundtrack for Paper Towns.  The catchy chorus is nothing but truth. “I’ma run up on the radio / Ambush the scene, oh, and you ’bout to know” rings Santigold, forcing listeners to clap and stomp to the perfectly infectious track.  Listen to the hit below and I dare you to not to go crazy over the heavy and hypnotizing beat and Santigold’s flawless vocals.

“Radio”… appears on the original soundtrack for Paper Towns, the forthcoming coming-of-age movie based off a John Green novel that stars Cara Delevingne… The soundtrack is out July 10, while the movie is out July 23.

Though the complete soundtrack won’t be available till July 10th, “Radio” is available on iTunes as well as other tracks by artists including Vance Joy, Galantis and Grouplove.

You can watch the trailer for Paper Towns here, which features “To The Top” by Twin Shadow and “Smile” by Mikky Ekko.
