Orilla, ON based heavy metal band Adrenechrome have just put out a devastating new single that matches its title perfectly: “The Lead Elephant” (which can be listened to here). The single is on the band’s upcoming release “Tales From Adrenechrome” which will be released independently on November 27th.
One of the most notable things about “The Lead Elephant” besides the fact that its towering riffs and thundering rhythms match the title down to a T is the fact that the vocals are extremely reminiscent of Pantera vocalist Phil Anselmo. If I didn’t know any better, I’d think I was listening to him singing with Black Sabbath. Honestly, I think that is pretty darn cool.
BraveWords goes into further detail on the upcoming release, saying:
Three years since releasing their 2012 debut Hideous Appetites, these mosh thirsty bangers are ready to release their sophomore follow-up Tales From Adrenechrome on November 27th. With its epic album artwork by graphic artist Clöwnbäbÿ, Tales From Adrenechrome features seven hot pocket tracks exposing you to the horrors of their metal crypt.
That said, if you’re looking for some new metal to help you feel like you’re towering then just wait till “Tales From Adrenechrome” comes out. It should do just the trick.
