Buzz Records is excited to announce the very talented ANAMAI and their debut full-lenth record, Sallows. The musical architects, Anna Mayberry (HSY) and David Psutka (Egyptrixx, Hiawatha), have teamed up together and crafted this majestic album consisting of spacey-frequencies and wave-like shallow synths, taking you away to a parallel world (or at least I feel that way).
With its dreary, mellow-weight, ANAMAI’S single “Lucia” is the first track to be released from their upcoming album Sallows, available March 10th. You can stream this track on Entertainment Weekly along with Bandcamp as well.
Sallows was recorded in Toronto by David at Halcoline Trance Studios and Josh Korody (Fucked Up, Cousins, Greys) at Candle Recording. Buzz Records, a record label which was founded in 2011 as a garage venue who hosted mostly local punk and noise bands, have been dedicated to releasing music that has come out of this small, dirty pocket of Toronto.
