Barra has taken inventive approaches towards her music and touring throughout her career. She explores new technologies along with engaging her fans and peers along the way. Not only is she a songwriter, producer, and audio-tech consultant, but as well as an Associate Professor at Berklee College of Music and Berklee Online along with being the course developer for Berklee and Coursera’s latest collaboration with is an “Intro To Ableton” MOOC.

Barra teamed up with Blend before her 2014 release of EP Undefined, offering the individual stems of the album’s five original songs for listening, remixing, and re-imagining via Blend’s global platform of artists and producers.
The result of it all is an 11 track remix LP: Redefined. It features artists from various different countries such as Germany, Findland, Italy, New Zealand, and the US. Redefined represents the limitless collaborative possibilities allowed by Blend.
