Breakfast in Fur’s debut album, Flyaway Garden, is out today via Bar/None Records. The album is availble to stream on YouTube and to purchase here. The band will celebrate in New York City this Thursday night, February 5 at Shea Stadium & in their hometown of New Paltz, NY on Friday, February 6 at Snugs, before heading to the SXSW Music Conference in Austin, TX, March 17-22 – see full tour dates below. Their sound resembles psychedelic rock with cues from Olivia Tremor Control and Boards of Canada alongside other Hudson Valley musicians including Mercury Rev. Jersey Beat notes their vocalist “imbues these songs with mystery and sex appeal, as if Lana Del Rey wandered out of her lounge and into a smoky underground dance club.”
