As confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter, singer Denise Matthews—better known as Vanity—has died. The cause of death was reportedly kidney failure. She was 57.
Vanity was Prince’s protege and she found fame in the music industry in the early 80’s. She also starred in the classic, The Last Dragon.
