Golden Daze – “Salt”

LA based dream pop/rock duo Golden Daze have just premiered a rather psychedelic new single “Salt” (which can be listened to here via SoundCloud) which will be on the band’s upcoming debut album “Golden Daze” on February 19th via Autumn Tone Records.

“Salt” is a driving song, but at the same time it is relaxing and chilled enough to where you can just put your feet up and be lost in the moment with it; letting all your present cares slowly slip away in the most peaceful manner possible. The dreamy guitar will ease your mind and the falsetto vocals will delight your soul. Stereogum goes into further detail, saying:

Golden Daze’s “Salt” sounds like a long-lost Beach Boys demo dipped in psychedelic dream-pop. The LA duo’s latest track employs gauzy layers of feel-good guitars and breathy vocals in service of sparkly, melodic, shoegaze-inflected rock that’ll send you into mental realms you never knew existed. Somehow it exists in the same sphere as both Childhood and Wavves.

Golden Daze are certainly showcasing a great deal of promise and potential in “Salt”. If the rest of the album is anything like it, they have a good future ahead of them.
