Goldmund-Sometimes-560x560

Goldmund (aka Keith Keniff), the young piano prodigy has just put out a heartfelt emotional new instrumental single “Sometimes” (which can be listened to below via YouTube) which will be out on November 13th via Western Vinyl.

“Sometimes” is one of those introspective piano pieces you could definitely hear being in the background of an emotional part of a movie, TV show, or even a commercial. It is soft and subtle, yet at the same time the soft touch has a heavy impact on one’s heart and feelings. The sparse amount of strings in the background also give it a bit more of that sad touch that the song uses to knock the ball out of the park in therms of getting to your feels. Stereogum goes into further detail, saying:

Goldmund is Keith Kenniff, a former Berklee percussion student who found his way to piano at age 20. It’s a good thing he did — good for him because Goldmund’s music has appeared in the background of many movies and TV shows as well as Apple, Google, and Facebook ads; good for us because “Sometimes,” from Goldmund’s imminent album of the same name, is a heartrendingly beautiful work that reminds me of Sigur Rós circa ( ).

Want to add a bit more feels to your day? I think you’ve come to the right place.
