Ever since it was made public that Axl Rose and Slash had buried the hatchet with their 20 year feud and were therefore friends again, TONS of rumours have been spreading like wildfire that the classic line-up of Guns N’ Roses will be reuniting. Now however, there has been some credence given to those rumours.
In addition to the fact that three members of the “Nu-GN’R” line-up had quit, on Christmas Day the band’s Facebook profile picture was changed to a black and white picture of an audience that had been shown in a short enigmatic teaser clip that had been shown in select showings of “Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens”. The clip (which can be viewed below via YouTube) features bits of the GN’R classic “Welcome to the Jungle” while an audience cheers.
To add more to the excitement than just the teaser and change on Facebook, the band’s official website now is sporting the classic logo that is co-owned by Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan.
Fans of the band have waited two decades for something like this to happen. Hopefully this is the reunion you have been looking for.
