Melbourne based electronica artist Null has released his first single, “Luv U, Luv Me,” from his EP, Almost, which will be co-released between Acéphale and Siberia Records on March 3rd. “Luv U, Luv Me” chimes you in immediately to a blend of instrumental and electronica sound that reverberates the song’s title; its diverse influences are keenly embedded-from 90’s electronica to Orbital and Underworld, similarily modern EDM. I’d say it certainly rings a bell within the trance subset of today’s EDM music. Null’s introduction with Almost is twofold with a series of immersive visuals created by Los Angeles-based creative team Oval-X (see visual preview here) that illustrate each track of Almost. The visual preview’s psychedelic, hypnotic aurora is fascinating and intriguing. As we look forward to the full visuals, we can also expect a full album in the ladder of 2015.
