Just recently announced through various platforms is the upcoming collaborative album between Katy Goodman of La Sera and The Hush Sound and Springtime Carnivore’s Greta Morgan entitled Take It, It’s Yours through Goodman’s label Polyvinyl Records. It’s a cover album of old “punk and new wave” favorites.
On Stereogum, it stated this about Morgan’s take on the album:
The concept of the record began last September when Katy and I were messing around learning Misfits songs on guitar in my backyard. Once we started singing ‘Where Eagles Dare,” we couldn’t stop. Having female voices and girl group harmonies with the lyrics “I ain’t no goddam son of a bitch, you better think about it, baby” felt like a riveting turnaround.
