A lot is happening to Mega Bog, the brainchild of songwriter Erin Birgy: the debut album is almost out of the oven, they just started a tour and the first single, Year of Patience, is out. Man, I don’t know how Birgy does it. Year of Patience is a bold and galvanizing jazz-rock mixed pop song that opens with a bursting saxophone. For a second there, I thought David Bowie would come howling, but no. Great track.
