Axé Music is a mix of Afro-Caribbean styles (Marcha, Reggae, Calypso) plus the influence of Brazilian music such as Frevo, Forró and Carixada. Now, imagine those music genres in a mashup that would add classics from The Strokes and The Smiths. Kinda hard to fathom, yeah? Well, DJ Raphael Bertazi, from Pirassununga, in the state of São Paulo, Brazil think not.
