The release of “Best Day Ever” probably ignited many best days for Mac Miller, as it catapulted his career from indie rapper to household name. Initially released in 2011, “Best Day Ever” will be reissued as a remastered version on both CD and vinyl.
It must be noted too that the mixtape contains the single “Donald Trump”, which is appropriately coming back into our radar in lieu of the presidential election. Via Pigeons and Planes, Rostrum Records President Benjy Grinberg, told Billboard: “The album includes Mac’s biggest single to date, ‘Donald Trump,’ but that’s just a coincidence.
