Welcome to the Mild High Club. A wayward home for the musical output of Alexander Brettin, a 21st Century Jazz musician from the Midwest who sounds more like Todd Rundgren spilling bong-water on his Macbook than Charlie Parker.
Brettin’s been swingin’ around L.A. as of late, playing with the likes of Ariel Pink, R. Stevie Moore, and Mac DeMarco, while recording his lovingly woozy 7” record for Stones Throw. Brettin’s debut LP is scheduled for a Spring 2015 release and will feature guest vocals from Ariel Pink.
