Chicago based song writer Paul Cherry (who is also known for his work with the project Odd Folk) has just independently released a new single via SoundCloud that is very reminiscent of summer time and warm sandy beaches called “So Easy” (which can be listened to below) and will be on a split tape with The Lemons called “Cherry Lemonade”.
With summer almost over, premiering such a track is a good idea because for a little while longer its soft relaxing melodic vibe will help bring images of gentle breezes, ocean waves, volley ball, and other such pleasant summer ideas into our minds as the days get shorter and the weather begins to cool down. Tiny Mix Tapes goes into further detail describing this delightful track saying:
So take the special person by the hand, figure out a way of achieving always-heat, and be free with Paul Cherry. It really could be “So Easy.” Just take the man by the hand and find out where the destination lies. With the pleasantry of The Memories and swag of a modern-day Chewbacca, Paul Cherry is just swirling a glass of sound and sass, sipping sunshine south of the shore. It’s an innertube. And y’all are invited. Bring a floatable cooler too.
“So Easy” is probably one of the best audible capturings of summer I’ve heard in a long time. Grab a cold drink, sit back, and put this track on. You’ll see what I mean.
