The scheduled lineup for the Village Voice annual 4 Knots Music Festival reads like a greatest hits of our past recommendations here at Punchland! It includes Diane Coffee, The Strumbellas, Protomartyr, Car Seat Headrest and headlined by Guided by Voices at the Pier 16 Stage and Girlpool at the Fulton Stage. Even with those favorites we are also excitedly looking forward to the sets by Mothers and Bayonne. The full schedule is below but even if the music lineup seems unknown to you, trust in the tastemaking powers of whoever is putting together the line ups. From past experience I can attest that there is always something waiting to be discovered at this music festival and best of all, it’s free! 4 Knots Music Festival is on July 9, 2016 at the South Street Seaport from 1PM to 8PM.
