“Worth the Tears” by Sheer Mag from III
Track Review:
American rock meets Philly punk in this freshly released track called “Worth the Tears” by Sheer Mag from their new album. Wielding intense vocal stylings of Christina Halladay, Jeremy Gordon noted Halladay’s vulnerability present in the new album, especially in tracks “Worth the Tears” and “Nobody’s Baby.” Gordon said, “She sings about men who’ve wronged her through their apathy” (Pitchfork). Halladay belts out, “At least I tried” in reference to trying to make a relationship work. She decides that the time they spent together, despite the tears, are worth the memories she can now carry with her – in her own consideration.
