There’s something you have to appreciate about a bunch of guys getting together and making music they want to make. No influence from their label, Sonny & the Sunsets began with a film project that couldn’t be completed. However out of the aspired film attempt a different type of entertainment sprung. Recording for this track took place at Sonny Smith’s home on this tape machine with musicians such as Shayde Sartin (The Fresh & Onlys), Garret Goddard (King Tuff), Kelley Stoltz, Rusty Miller, Ian McBrayer, to name a few. To anyone who has attempt clean recording at their own home, it’s not easily accomplished. Not to mention, for the collector, there’s a 150 gram vinyl for sale for whoever likes that vintage touch.
