Vaadat Charigim which roughly translates to “exceptions committee” is a Tel Aviv based trio that is renown for their distinctive sound, which derives from their unique mix of: local Israeli rock from the 80’s and 90’s with international indie rock from the same era, as well as their insistency on using the Hebrew language. Vaadat Charigim has recently announced that they will be releasing their sophomore album “Sinking as a stone” May 5th on Burger Records, which mirrors the unstable situation in Israel and explores the theme of searching for meaning in a chaotic war stricken world. From this album the trio have recently released a new single titled “Ein Li Makom” (the boredom sinks in). The single has a slow instrumental beat and explores the existential sense of boredom as a moment of clarity and of self awareness.
