Love is something that should come easily, it shouldn’t be something which one needs to constantly defend, pretend, or work hard at. Villagers new single “Hot Scary summer” which premiered on NPR yesterday with it’s slow soft guitar rifts, explores and exposes these harsh themes along with the need to acknowledge all the good memories and the need to move on. The Single is part of the villagers new album Darling Arithmetic which will be coming out April 14 on Domino. The band also plans to swing by NYC during their tour to preform two shows in March so make sure to mark down your calendars and to start counting down the days.
