There were a number of years in the past millennium when musicians were allowed to have weird hair and bad attitudes so long as they also put out great stuff. One of those years was 1985, the year that the weird-haired, drunk fighting, axe-grinding Reid brothers and their band Jesus and Mary Chain released Psychocandy.
This summer, the re-formed band will take to the road to play Psychocandy in its glorious, buzzing entirety. Best of all, they’ve just added more dates to LA and New York.
