Adrienne Black describes Basstracks’, a duo from Brooklyn, sound as “creating a unique, updated twist on jazz that they find best described as ‘future brass’ ”. Their upcoming EP, Good Love, will feature plenty of rhythmic trumpet and drum mixes and today, the lead single was released providing the listeners with a sneak peek. The lead single happens to be the title track which Black describes as “a feel good track that sounds equal parts soulful, jazzy, and funky”. UK rapper Jay Prince is featured on the track also.
