Funny People – So, by funny you mean unfunny and off-putting?
This is 40 – The trailer is already insufferable. The movie is overlong and the script is dishonest and a little dodgy.
And now Trainwreck. This one looks legitimately funny, but it’s a Judd Apatow movie, so it’s not so much as funny as it’s probably just off-putting. Hey, shock value! The premise is a little hacky, girls do these things and boys just can’t understand. Isn’t it funny? Can’t you relate?
I don’t know, man. I love Amy Schumer, she’s really talented and so is Bill Hader, but Apatow movies are overly self indulgent. Funny People (unrated) has a running time of 153 minutes. Are you kidding me?
