U.S. Girls is Illinois born but Toronto based artist Meghan Remy whose 4AD debut “Half Free” is coming out on Sept. 25th on Fatcat Records. Remy’s music is brimming with feminist ideals and also has an extremely pop charged vibe that still spans a few different genres. Her first single “Damn That Valley” has already stirred up quite a bit of attention from Billboard and Pitchfork, who even included it as the “Pitchfork Best New Track“.
Remy will be embarking on an Autumn tour that starts on August 5th and runs through November 21st. She will be supporting as the opening act for The Kills in September and Peaches in October (during a string of West coast dates) and then doing joint shows with Escape-ism November.
