The winner of VH1’s “Make A Band Famous” will be announced tonight, and will be signed to Republic Records and receive exposure on VH1’s “You Oughta Know” artist program.
Judges include Natasha Bedingfield, Adam Blackstone (musical director to Justin Timberlake, Pharell and Maroon 5), and Kurt Hugo Schneider (YouTube singer and producer with over 4.2 million subscribers). Mentors include Travie McCoy (Gym Class Heroes lead singer), Chris Daughtry, and Bonnie McKee (co-writer for Katy Perry’s “California Girls,” “Teenage Dream” and “Roar”). Additionally, special appearances will be made by Benji and Joel Madden, Ed Sheeran, Patrick Stump and Pete Wentz (Fall Out Boy) and Colbie Caillet.
