Without hesitation, I can say that the Violent Femmes are one of my favorite bands of all time. Gordon Gano is a folk-punk Mick Jagger, brooding and swaying with scrambled-man wisdom and a voice that is instantly recognizable. “Love Love Love Love Love” slithers through alternative, even sounding as if it were recorded during Hallowed Ground times.
