Web in Review: It Must be 2003 Again, Because Love Actually Matters #LoveActuallyWars

Hello, if you just woke up from a 10 year long coma, you didn’t miss much since we’re still talking about Love Actually. The internet is up in arms in what is being dubbed the #LoveActuallyWars. Sigh.

We have Jezebel with I Rewatched Love Actually and Am Here to Ruin It for All of You, which is a funny piece, nothing wrong with it, except that it’s two thousand and fucking thirteen! Are you kidding me with this? We also had at The Atlantic “Love Actually Is the Least Romantic Film of All Time.” Who hurt you? Who is making you watch this movie? But, then you think.

OK, it’s over, we can all rest and forget that everybody is talking about Love Actually, a movie that was never and never will be relevant, right? And then, here comes Salon with ““Love, Actually”: The worst Christmas movie ever.” Holy shit, Internet, give it a rest.

How about next week we talk about how “Grandma’s Boy” is a new classic or how Bernie from Weekend At Bernie’s was just trolling those guys? Something’s gotta give.
