Well, this is a bummer. Every person in the world woke up today having to deal with another Monday and then on top of that here comes the Grammy 2016 nominations and, good for you Taylor Swift, but the real question is why wasn’t Adele nominated for a 2016 Grammy Award?
It just so happens that the nomination window for a 2016 Grammy Award is the reason. You see, in order for an album to be nominated for a Grammy Award in 2016, the album would have had to have been released from October 1, 2014 until September 30, 2015. So, Adele, unfortunately, was cut off.
That’s OK, there’s always next year. And, you know, it’s gonna be a sweep. Till 2017 then when all Adele fans will say hello from the other side.
